Students in Health Care Unit Coordinator are trained in the following subject areas:

  • Learn how to communicate with health care facility staff members, patients, and other health care customers;
  • Maintain patient charts and forms
  • Handle incoming calls and other organizational duties
  • Organize unit supplies
  • File forms and reports
  • Support other duties to maintain daily work operations
